Embracing Positivity In The World of Discontentment

In this world where there is an ambiguous level of satisfaction and perfection, it has come to a point where some individuals no longer know how to live their lives normally and peacefully. It is like they always need someone else’s opinion regarding how they look. Just take for example how young teenage girls would start planning their major nose job or breast enhancement. They would rather look like a life-size barbie than come out just the way they are. Seeing beauty has become superficial. Both male and female have developed some form of vanity that looking at how they are now is like looking at fashion magazines. While we may see it as very neat and pleasing to the eyes, none of them may no longer be themselves as they try to portray a role to make people believe who they are. Perfection, in a sense, has been the ultimate goal – perfect hair, perfect skin, perfect body….. The need to become a model-like figure continuously escalates as the young generation are...

Review: The Warrior Mindset

I am the kind of person who loves reading books that help inspire people. And it has been a way for me to express how I feel about certain situations through writing an inspirational blog which I have written more than 4 years ago. I have read “ Chicken Soup for the Soul ” and “ The Purpose- Driven Life ” and have treated it as my “heart softener” – a reminder of reality. I came across an e-book entitled “The Warrior Mindset”, written by Armando Bartolome . He is one of the well-sought business consultants and the man behind the success of a lot of big companies in the Philippines including Mang Inasal, Julie’s Bakeshop, and Fiorgelato , just to name a few. Being in the business for so many years, he did not only focus on how to help build the business of the people who sought his ...

Time comes when we feel like we are left in a cold, dark room. All the pain and feeling of self-pity envelopes our soul. This may be your lowest point in life. How do you help yourself to break free from all the negative energy? The power of prayer has been proven to be the least expensive way of saving yourself from total destruction. Inflicted pain caused by our painful past, horrible present and doubtful future may lead you nowhere but to an endless tunnel of hopelessness. No matter which religious sect you belong to, believing that something good will always turn out will help you accept reality, move on and learn to accept challenges in a positive way. Remember, every one else may suffer from difficulties in life. It's just a matter of knowing your way out of it and make a full turn around. Today is Valentine's Day! There are a lot of people who exert a lot of effort to let their loved ones feel extra special. But of course, there are also others who feel lonely ...

Daily Dose of Positivity

It's another year of starting anew. But what often happens is that we tend to leave our list/goals for the new year on that piece of paper and forget about it. When you look back at the past year, what do you feel? Do you feel that you have accomplished anything? Do you feel that you lacked the necessary time to be able to make a difference? Wouldn't you want to continue an unfinished project? You don't need to compete with everyone else. You don't have to be an object of envy of others. Value yourself more than what money could buy. Believe that you can do something. Believe that you are capable of making change. Aspire to always become a better version of yourself. When you set your goals, make sure that it is something that will affect you and the people around you in a positive way. Never be disheartened when people start to criticize. Instead, listen and understand. There might be certain points where you fall short and need to make just a little adjustments ...
