Are You Getting Enough of Your Daily Dose?
Our daily activities may bore us down but it is something that we have to do, anyway. What would be our purpose in life if we just stop and sit still in our homes? After all, we only live once, so we must make the most out of it. Not every day are we able to have a great day. Especially when dealing with our grumpy boss, nagging partner, wailing kids, escalating finances...do I need to say more? There is one thing that could save up our sanity. And that is having just a few minutes to reflect, appreciate and pray for whatever work or challenges are at hand. More than the vitamins that gives us energy, is having the inner peace.
What else could make us relax in between our hectic schedules is finding time to do what we like. Although we can be very busy at times to the point of missing lunch, still I think to be more productive with what we do, we need to give ourselves a breather from time to time.
I know some writers here post their articles at work (who’s guilty here?LOL) It may be their way to release stress put by their individual jobs. Now doing something out of what your job description dictates might turn out to be bad if you neglect to do what is expected of you. So just a reminder, look behind your back every now and then. Your supervisor might be just watching your every move. It would be a good thing, though if you can encourage your sup to join you with writing here. Then you won’t have any problems having to steal some time from work just to do your online thing.
What are the things that pump you up in a day? Is it the workload from the office? Is it the warm hug you got from your spouse before leaving home? Is it the joy in the face of your child? Or is it just knowing that today is another great day to start things right?
